These Type 27 Aluminum angle grinder flap discs have a paired flap design that delivers high performance grinding on aluminum. The top flaps are coated to eliminate loading and allow the disc to maintain a high cut-rate, while the alternating flaps aggressively remove material with self-sharpening zirconia aluminum grains. This unique paired flap design delivers the ultimate combination of high-performance grinding for aluminum at an exceptional value.

They are available in the Type 27 style. A Type 27 flap disc is referred to as a flat disc. It is best used at a 0-15 degree angle. Type 27 is used for grinding the plane and outside corners.

The 36-grit disc is a good choice for beveling, chamfering, weld removal and stock removal, while the 60-grit disc is ideal for weld blending, finishing and cosmetic detail work.
